HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 1120, No Ordinance Number1120 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE EXISTENCE WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OF DWELLINGS UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATIO14 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That there now exist in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, dwellings which are unfit for human habitation due to dilapidation, defects increasing the hazards of fire, accidents or other calamities, lack of ventilation, light or sanitary .facilities, or due.to other conditions rendering such dwellings unsafe or unsanitary, or dangerous or detrimental to the health, safety or morals or otherwise inimical to the welfare of the residents of.said City; and SECTION 2. That these conditions can be relieved, prevented or eliminated through planned and properly enforced minimum housing standards, resulting in the upgrading of living conditions and the overall enhancement of the general health, safety and welfare of all residents and property owners of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3.
