HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 111, No Ordinance NumberANT ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH- McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE WEST SIDE OF THIRD STREET BETWEEN HARRISON STREET AND CLAY STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning Commission on Aunust 7, 1963 entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THIRD STREET BETWEEN CLAY STREET AND HARRISON STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the followinu Property be, and it is hereby, changed from PSI -1 General Industrial Zone to R -L: Multiple Dwelline Zone: Beginnirp at the intersection of the center lines of 3rd Street and Clay Street; thence west with the center line of Clay Street 206.25 feet to the center line of an alley, extended; thence south with the center line of said alley, and that line extended, to the center line of Harrison Street; thence east with the center line of Harrison Street to the center line of 3rd Street; thence north with the center line of 3rd Street to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance -1961 and the Maps referred to in Section 14 thereof be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 1. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this Ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective of invalid for anv cuase, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this Ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. C.
