AN ORDINANCE CDOSIX CERTAIN ALLEYS IN CONNECTION WITH MUNICIPAL
HOUSING- PROJECT- KY 600
PE IT ORDAINED BY THE POARD OF -COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in connection
with Municipal Housing Fro5ect KY 6-8 does hereby authorize the
closing of the following streets and alleys and portions thereof
as follows:
SITE A:
1. Beginnin- at a point in the easterly right -of -wag
line of Boone Lane, s 12°29' W alone the easterly
right-of-wav line of Boone Lane, a distance of
^13.0' from the intersection of the southerly
ri,ht-of-way line of South 28th Street and the
easterly right-of-wav line of Boone Lane; thence,
:"S 12129' W alone the easterly right-of-way line
of Boone Lane, a distance of 14?.00' more or less
to a point, said point being in the line between Loyd
Coins and W. J. Helin, if extended; thence, in a
westerly- direction along the line between Loyd
Goins and W. J. Helin, a distance of 1L.26' to a
poin".; thence N 12029' E alone the westerly line
of scone Lane, a distance of 44.1.50 more or less
to a point, said point being• the intersection of
the north lire of the Loyd Ooins property and the
above mentioned richt-of-wav line; thence N 07°13' E
a distance of lb.nl' to the point of beginninp.
SITE B:
1. Berinning at a point N 30000' W along the westerly
right-of-wav line of South 9th Street, a distance
of 22.0' from the intersection of the westerly
richt-of-way• line of South 9th Street and the
northerly rim' t-cf-waw line of Leake Avenue, at the
northerly line of a 10' public alley, thence S 60000' W
alonr* the northerly right-of-wav line of said 10'
public alley a distance of 344.92' to the easterly
right-of-way line of South 10th Street; thence
S 2032130" E alonr the easterly right-of-way line
of South 10th Street, a distance of 10.00' to a
point; thence N 60°00' E along the southerly right -
of -wag- lire of the above mentioned alley a distance
of 31.00' to the westerly richt-of-way line of
South 9th. Street; thence N 300001 W along the easterly
right-of-way line of South 9th Street a distance of
10.00' to the point of heainning.
2. Beginning at a point, S 60°00' W alonp the northerly
right-of-wa7 line of Leake Avenue, a distance of 91.00'
more or less from the intersection of the westerly rirht-
of-war line of South 10th Street and the northerly rirht-
of-way line of Leake Avenue, said point being in the
easterly right-of-way line of a 10' alley; thence N 30000' W
along the northerly line of the above mentioned 10' alley,
distance of 100.00' more or less to a point, where said
10' alley- turns and runs in a westerly direction; thence
S (0100' W alone the northerly line of said 10' alley, a
distance of 209.00' more or less to a point, where said
10' alley turns and runs in a northerly direction; thence,
I: 30°00' W alone the easterly right-of-way line of said
10' alley, a distance of 106.00' more or less, to a point.,
said point being in the southerly line of a 10' alley; thence,
S 10000' W alon-- the southerly line of said 10' alley, a
distance of 10.00' to a point said point being the inter-
section of the southerly rir•ht-of-way .line of a 10' alley
and the westerly ri--ht-o.f-wav line of a 10' alley; thence,
S 30°00' E along the westerly richt-of-way line of the

less to a point, where said 10' alley turns and runs in a
easterly- direction; thence, is 60°00' E alone the southerly

wav line of said alley, a distance of 90.00' more or less

SECTIOie 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the CitAr of Faducah
is herel•y authorized and empowered to institute, pursuant to the
provisions of KRS 91;.360, a suit in the KcCracken Circuit Court
for a judgment orderine the closin,• of the above streets and
alleys and portions thereof referred to in Section 1 hereof. :
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall he in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
