A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING R. L. BROCKMAN, CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY ,I
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TO EXECUTE, ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A RIDER TO !
THE EXISTING ORIGINAL "PLAN AND AGREEMENT" PERTAINING TO SOCIAL i
SECURITY COVERAGE OF CITY EMPLOYEES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C014MISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That R. L. Brockman, City Manager of the City of —�
Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he hereby is authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a rider to the existing original
"Plan and Agreement" to include all services performed by employees in
positions covered by the Paducah Civil Service Retirement System but
who are ineligible to be members of the Paducah Civil Service Retirement
System.
SECTION 2. That the services of any employee referred to in this
rider shall not be covered by this "Plan and Agreement" on or after
the date he becomes eligible to be a member of the Paducah Civil Service
Retirement System, but only if prior to such date the services performed
by employees in positions covered by the Paducah Civil Service Retire-
ment System in which the employee is ineligible for membership, are
not covered by this agreement, which rider is attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
SECTION 3. That said rider is in words and figures as follows:
"By agreement of the parties hereto, the Flan and Agreement executed
by the City of Paducah and the Department of Economic Security is
amended as follows:
"This Plan and Agreement is to include all services performed
by employees in positions covered by the Paducah Civil Service Re-
tirement System but who are ineligible to be members of the Paducah
Civil Service Retirement System, and
"It is further agreed, that the services of any employee
referred to in this rider shall not be covered by this "Plan and
Agreement" on or after the date he becomes eligible to be a member
of the Paducah Civil Service Retirement System, but only if prior
to such date the services performed by employees in positions
covered by the Paducah Civil Service Retirement System in which the
employee is ineligible for membership, are not covered by this
agreement.
"The effective date for coverage of all services in positions now
included under this rider but heretofore excluded by the original
Plan and Agreement shall be as of January 1, 1958.

SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
