S. CAVALEY, 1,TH INFANTRY DIVISION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COPIPISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT: SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for and on behalf of the citizens of said City, does 1-v this means hereby express its special interest and appreciation for the officers and men of "A" Troop, 1st Squadron, 10th U. S. Cavalry, t.th Infantry Division. SECTION 2. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, for and on behalf of the citizens of said City, does by this means hereby express its sincere appreciation for the services being performed by the personnel of said unit, at Freat sacrifice to themselves and to their families, on behalf of our Country. SECTION 3. That the Board of Commissioners of the Citv of Paducah, Kentucky, .for and on behalf of the citizens of said City, does hereby "adopt" all personnel of said unit as Honorary Citizens of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 4. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky; for and on behalf of the citizens of said City, does hereby recommend its native son, Captain William E. McAllister, an officer of said unit, as a worthy recipient of the honorary title "Duke of Paducah". SECTION S. That a certified copy hereof, under seal, be forwarded forthirith to Captain William E. McAllister on behalf of said unit. SECTION 6.
