AND WIFE, JANE ADLER BRIGHT, LYING ADJACENT TO THE NORTHWEST CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF THE TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED, AND DECLARING THE DESIRABILITY AND NECESSITY OF SUCH ANNEXATION BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. It is hereby proposed that certain land of Irving P. Bright, Jr. and wife, Jane Adler Bright, lying adjacent to the northwest corporate limits, more particularly described hereinafter, be annexed to the City of Paducah, and that said property so proposed to -be annexed is accurately described as follows: Lot No. 5 of Windsor Woods Subdivision; beginning at a point on the north right of way of the Pines Road, said point being north 42 deg. 42 min. east 150 feet from the intersection of said north right of way with the east right of way of Friedman Lane; thence north 47 deg. 18 min, west 143.7 feet to a point; thence north 42 deg. L2 min, east 151.34 feet to a point in,a 27.2$6 degree curve having a radius of 210 feet; thence with said curve to the right 23.75 feet to the bepinning of said curve; thence south 47 deg. 18 min, east 120 feet to a point on the north right of way of the Pines Road; thence with the north right of way south 42 deg. 42 min. west 150 feet to the point of beeinning. SECTION 2. It is hereby..declared that extending the boundary of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, by annexing the property described in Section 1 hereof is desirable and necessary. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be published in the Sun -Democrat, a newspaper in Paducah, Kentucky, as provided for and required by Section 421,..130 of Kentuckv Revised Statutes, and the extension of the City Limits as herein proposed shall not become effective until the adoption of an ordinance annexing the property described in Section 1 hereof, and such ordinance shall not be adopted until after publication of this ordinance as provided herein and until the expiration of a period of thirty days after the publication of same. Notice is hereby given under the provisions of Section $1.110 of Kentucky Revised Statutes that one or more residents or freeholders of the herein territory proposed to be annexed may, within thirty days after the enactment of this ordinance, file a petition in the Circuit Court of McCracken County, Kentucky, setting forth the reason why said territory, or any cart of it, shall not be annexed. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
