HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 1055, No Ordinance Number1055✓' X AN ORDINANCE CREATING A FOREST HILLS ACQUISITION ADVISORY BOARD, CONSISTING OF SIX MEMBERS, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS OF OFFICE AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD BE IT ORDAINED BY .THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:. SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established a Forest Hills Acquisition Advisory Board of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, consisting of six (6) members, who shall be of legal age and residents of said City. The members shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners of said City. The terms of said members shall be for a term of one year and shall serve until their successors are appointed. SECTION 2. The duties of said board as created and established in Section 1 hereof shall be to study, investigate and recommend plans for acquisition by.the City of Paducah of the property known as Forest Hills, including, but not limited to, a recommendation,of a Fiscal Agent in connection therewith. SECTION 3. The board established herein shall not incur any indebtedness to be paid by the City of Paducah, and the City shall not be responsible for any debts incurred by said board. SECTION 4.
