HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 1053, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE DECLARING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ONE-WAY STREETS.,. LIMITING THE USE THEREOF AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,.KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The following streets or portions of streets are hereby declared to be one-way streets, and all vehicular traffic using said streets shall proceed in the direction hereinafter indicated: A. Fourth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling north. B. Fifth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling south. C. Sixth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling north. D. Seventh Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street shall be limited to vehicular traffic traveling south. SECTION 2. No vehicle shall be operated or parked on those streets designated as one-way streets in a direction other than the direction authorized in Section 1.hereof. SECTION 3. Any person, firm, company or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $2.00 nor more than $50.00 and each violation shall be considered a separate offense. SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after October 2, 1966 at 4 o'clock A.M. Central Daylight Time.
