HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 15, Page 1034, No Ordinance Number103!, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF THE SUPE OF V2,137.70 FROM THE PUBLIC WORKS CUMULATIVE RESERVE FUND OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH TO BURNS & MCDONNELL ENGIEEERING COMPANY, FOR THE COST OF CERTAIN SOIL BORINGS AND SAMPLINGS AND MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED STORP-i SEWER PROGRAPI BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM?,IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1._ The City Manager and City Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company of Kansas City, Missouri, the sum of $2,137.70 for the cost of certain soil borings and samplings and associated services in connection with the present storm sewer project under the terms and conditions of the exi.stina contract between the City and Burns & McDonnell Enaineerinp Company for engineering services. Such sum to be paid from the Public Works Cumulative Reserve Fund of the City. SECTION 2_ It is hereby declared to be the intention of the Board of Commissioners to repay said sum set out in Section 1 hereof to the aforesaid Public Works Cumulative Reserve Fund upon receipt of the proceeds of the current $2,500,000.00 bond issue. SECTION ) This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on .file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its .final passage, and if adopted s1 -al] be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
