"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION WHICH THE CITY
MANAGER SHALL RECEIVE AND TRANSFERRING SUFFICIENT FUNDS FROM THE
CONTINGENT FUND TO THE APPROPRIATION FOR CITY MANAGER'S SALARY
TO PAY THE SALARY SO PROVIDED", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON JULY 22, 1952, AND AMENDED ON NOVE14BER 20, 1957
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: -
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on
July 22, 1952, and amended on November 20, 1957, be, and the same
is hereby repealed, amended and reordained, so that said Section
as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the City Manager of the City of Paducah,
p Kentucky receive for his services the sum of Nine Thousand Six
Hundred (yp9,600.00) Dollars per year, effective May 1, 1959, which
salary shall be paid to him at the time other city salaries are paid."
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and shall be retroactive to May 1, 1959.
