AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAYLOR -WILSON CHEVROLET-
CADILLAC, INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1963 PICK-UP
TRUCK FOR USE BY THE PARKS, PLAYGROUND AND RECREATION BOARD, AND
PRESCRIBING THE TERAJ'.S AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL
BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C019-IISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of Taylor -Wilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc. in the sum of $2,179.75, less
$580.75 for trade-in of one (1) 1958 2 -door Chevrolet motor vehicle,
making a total delivery cost of `:1,599.00 for the sale to the City
of one (1) new 1963 Chevrolet Pick-up Truck, IQodel C-2504., for use
by the Parks, Playground and Recreation Board of the City, having
the specifications as set forth in the bid for same submitted by the
said Taulor :1ilson Chevrolet -Cadillac, Inc.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicle as set
out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall he put upon its final passaf7e, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
