NORTH LINE OF CENTRAL AVENUE AND THE NORTH LINE OF THE BRANCH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1011ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of all that portion of 37th Street between
the north line of Central Avenue and the North line of The Branch
described as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at a point where the west property line of
37th Street intersects the north property line of Central
Avenue; thence in a northerly direction and along the west
property line of 37th Street a distance of 295 feet, more
or less, to the north property line of The Branch; thence
in an easterly direction and along the north property line
of The Branch L:2.81 feet to the east property line of 37th
Street, if extended; thence in a southerly direction and
alone the east property line of 37th Street, if extended,
and continuing along said east property line a total distan-
ce of 282 feet, more or less, to the north property line
of Central Avenue; thence in a westerly direction and
along the north property line of Central Avenue 40 feet
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered to institute
and prosecute, pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360, an action
in the McCracken Circuit Court for a ,judgment ordering the closing
of that portion of 37th Street referred to in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in .full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
