FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY OF TWO (2) NEW 1963
FORD CAB AND CHASSIS AND ONE (1) NEW 1963 FORD DUMP TRUCK, FOR USE
BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY, AND PRESCRIBING THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of
King -Woodall Motors, Inc. in the sum of $16,456.43, less $3,113.0$
for trade-in of three (3) 1951 Chevrolet Dump Trucks Nos. 36, 37 amd
3$, making a total delivery cost of $13,343.35 for the sale to the
City of the following:
One (1) new 1963 Ford, F-$00, Cab & Chassis with 158"
Wheelbase
One (1) new 1963 Ford, F-$00, Cab & Chassis with 146"
Wheelbase
One (1) new 1963 Ford, F-$00, Dump Truck having 146"
Wheelbase,
all of said units to have specifications as set out in the Resolution
authorizing the request for bids adopted by the Board of Commissioners
of said City on September 11, 1962.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicles as
set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file
for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
