FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) BASE RADIO STATION AND TEN (10) MOBILE RADIO UNITS FOR USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. in the sum of $4,425.00 less $250.00 for trade-in value of one (1) base station and nine (9) mobile units, making a total delivery cost of $4,175.00 for the sale to the City of one (1) Motorola L43GGB-1100A, 25 watt base station, and ten (10) motorola U43GGT-1100C (SP) 25 watt radio- phones, including installation, and having the same specifications, warranties and guarantees as contained in the bid of Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc, dated October 1, 1962. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
