RESOLUTION OF GOVERNING BODY OF APPLICANT
RESOLUTION NO. 1 Project No.
For HHFA Use
Resolution authorizing the filing of application with the housing and
Home Finance Agency, United States of America, for a grant under the
terms of Public -Law 345, 8h.th Congress, as amended by the Public Works
Acceleration Act.
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Public Lav, 345, as amended, the United
States of America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies
to aid in financing the construction of specific public projects;
Now Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Commissioners of City of
Paducah, Kentucky:
1. That Robert C. Cherry, I4.ayor, be and he is hereby authorized to
execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky with the Housing and Home Finance Agency, United States
Government, for a grant to aid in financing the construction of a new
City Hall building.
2. That Raleigh Brockman, City Manager, be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Housing and Home Finance
Agency may reasonably request in connection with the application which
is herein authorized to be filed.
