AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WEST KENTUCKY EQUIPMENT I
COMPANY FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE NE1,11 C014BINATION BACKHOE AND
END LOADER TO BE USED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARREM OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
A PURCHASE CONTRACT '
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO2-11ISSIONERS OF TGE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of West Kentucky Equipment Company in the sum of 4$,624.61, less
42,824.61 for trade=in of one Case combination backhoe and end loader,
making a total of 45,800.00, plus any applicable sales tax, for the
sale to the City of One (1) new J. I. Case Model 530 Diesel Combination
Backhoe and End Loader having specifications as set out in the Reso-
lution adopted by the Board of Commissioners nn July 10, 1962.
Delivery to be made within ten (10) days after the execution of a
purchase contract.
SECTION 2. That the City Tanager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equipment as set out
in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall
be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
