AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF OHIO VALLEY SUPPLY COMPANY
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF 1000 FEET OF 2J -INCH FIRE HOSE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAME, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UPON :'7HICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO?311ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Ohio Valley Supply Company for the
sale to the City of 1000 feet of 22 -inch double ,jacket, gum treated,
cotton Dacron fire hose with brass forged rocker lug couplings
with Paducah thread for the sum of $1,21$ ger foot, with 20 discount
in 10 days, be accepted, and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby authorized to enter into and execute a contract, on behalf
of the City, for the purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting of
the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least one (1)
week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall
be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force
and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
