HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 747, No Ordinance Number747 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON CLEMENTS STREET SD UTH OF MEYERS STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah -McCracken County Planning Commission on June 20, 1962, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON CLEMENTS STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from M-3 Heavy Industrial Zone to R-3 Two -Family Zone: Beginning at a point in the centerline of Clements Street 351.5' south of the centerline of Meyers Street; thence east with the present R-3 Zone 335' to the centerline of Woodward Street; thence in a southerly direction with the centerline of Woodward Street 2801; thence in an easterly direction 163'; thence in a northerly direction 4801 along the rear property line of the lots fronting the east side of Woodward Street; thence in a westerly direction 163' to the centerline of Woodward Street- thence in a northerly direction with the centerline of aLodward Street 5' to centerline of a 101 alley; thence'in a westerly direction with the centerline of the 101 alley 167.51 to the center- line of a 251 alley running parallel with Clements Street; thence in a northerly direction with the centerline of the 251 alley 75'; thence in a westerly direction 167.51 to the centerline of Clements Street; thence in a southerly direction along the centerline of Clements Street 2801 to point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance - 1961 and the map referred to in Section 14 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH-PLANNING AREA - ZONE MAP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency of invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision, i hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5.
