HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 721, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH 2 OF SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO THE MARQUETTE CEMENT MANUFACTURING COMPANY, AN ILLINOIS CORPORATION, WITH PRINCIPAL OFFICES IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ON MEYERS STREET OWNED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, SETTING FORTH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SUCH SALE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE THERETO", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ON MAY 22, 1962 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Paragraph 2 of Section 2 of an ordinance having the title above quoted, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the city of Paducah, Kentucky, on May 22, 1962, be amended and reordained so that as amended and reordained said para- graph shall read as follows: 112. A perpetual easement is reserved over a strip of land fifteen (15) feet wide across the north end of the above described property, said strip extending from Meyers Street to the low water mark in the Tennessee River for the maintenance and operation of a storm sewer."
