HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 712, No Ordinance Number712 / AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT OF SALARY TO BE PAID TO THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, on January 16, 1962, an ordinance was adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, creating the position of Director of Public Safety of said City, and WHEREAS, said ordinance provided the amount of salary to be paid to the Director of Public Safety shall be fixed by ordinance at or before any person is appointed to such position, and WHEREAS, no person has been appointed to such position, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of said Board to now fix by ordinance the amount of such salary to be paid to said Director. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COP,11ISSIOI+IERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The amount of salary to be paid to the Director of Public Safety of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be the sum of "0'625.00 per month to be paid to such Director at the time other city salaries are paid. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection .for at least one (1) :reek in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
