AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KATTERJOHN CONCRETE PRODUCTS
COMPANY, INC., OWENSBORO, KENTUCKY, FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE
PRECAST CONCRETE BRIDGE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAPID; AND PRESCRIBING THE
TERP•IS AND CONDITIONS UPON 1-111ICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0T•'IiISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Katterjphn Concrete Products Company,
Inc. for the sale to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, of one (1) precast
concrete bridge, 30 foot clear span, consisting of seven (7) interior
sections and two (2) curb sections, with standard guard rails and
mountings, with each section to be three (3) feet aide; bridge to
be furnished and set in place on existing sub -structure ready for
use and to be as per drawing G600 of the Kentucky Highti•ray Department
and all materials used to meet such Department's specifications,
for the sum of $3,800.00 plus $114.00 sales tax, making a total
of $3,914.00, be accepted, and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to enter into and execute a contract on behalf
of the City for the purchase of same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
