AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY,
BY ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF LOREN M. JONES AND WIFE, NELL W. JONES,
LYING ADJACENT TO THE WEST CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAID CITY, AND DEFINING
ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE INCLUDED :WITHIN SAID
CORPORATE LIMITS
WHEREAS, under an ordinance adopted November 11�, 1961, the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, by and through its Board of Commissioners,
proposed to extend the boundary of the City by annexing certain
property of Loren M. Jones and wife, Nell :W. Jones, lying adjacent
to the west corporate limits of said city, which property is
hereinafter more particularly described, and
[WHEREAS said ordinance proposing such annexation and declaring
the desirability of same has been published in the Sun Democrat, a
newspaper published and distributed in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
as provided and required by IM.S 424.130 (1) Xb), and
WHEREAS a period of more than thirty (30) days has elapsed
since the enactment of the aforesaid ordinance, and
WHEREAS no petition or complaint has been filed in McCracken
Circuit Court protesting such extension of the city limits,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described property of Loren
M. Jones and wife, Nell W. Jones, be annexed to the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, the same being more particularly described as follows:
Being Lot No. 13 of Windsor Woods Subdivision
as shown by plat of said subdivision, of
record in Plat Book "F", page 47, McCracken
County Court Clerk's office, and beginning
at a point on the north right of way of the
Pines Road, said point being North 42 degrees
42 minutes East 510 feet and measured along
said North right of way from its intersec-
tion with the East right of way of Friedman
Lane; thence north 47 degrees 18 minutes West
120 feet to a point; thence North 30 degrees
16 minutes East 136.32 feet to a point;
thence South 59 degrees 54 minutes East 153.43
feet tp a point• thence South 42 degrees 42
minutes [lest 161.50 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
