HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 615, No Ordinance Number61.5 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH- McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BEYER AVENUE BETWEEN THE DONE OAK (LOVELACEVILLE) ROAD AND THE PA%TON PARK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1961 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah-Mccracke,, County Planning Commission on September 20, 1961, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH-McCRACKEN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF BEYER AVENUE BETWEEN THE LONE OAK (LOVELACEVILLE) ROAD AND THE PA%TON PARK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE", shall be, and it is hereby, approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property shall be, and it is hereby, changed from R-1 One Family Residential and R-2 One Family Residential to R-4 Multiple Dwelling Residential: Beginning at a point in the center line of Beyer Avenue east of Lone Oak (Lovelaceville) Road marking the inter- section of that line and the existing B-1 Neighborhood Business Zone; thence north along the east boundary of said B-1 Neighborhood Business Zone to the intersection of that boundary with the south boundary of the Paxton Park Municipal Golf Course; thence east along the south boundary of said golf course 825 feet more or less to a point in an established property line; thence southwest at an interior angle of 51 degrees 10 minutes 70 feet to a point; thence southeast at an interior angle of 253 degrees 8 minutes 196.87 feet to a point; thahce south at an interior angle of 128 degrees 2 minutes 545 feet more or less, to the center line of Beyer 'Avenue; thence west along the center line of Beyer Avenue'743 feet more or less to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance - 1961 and the map referred to in Section 14 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH - PLANNING AREA - ZONING MAP" shall be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and inteht of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. M SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
