AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE OPINERS OF IMPROVED REAL ESTATE IN
SANITARY ZONES 1 AND 3, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND IN
ALL OTHER SANITARY SEPIER ZONES IN SAID CITY, SHALL, WITHIN TWENTY-
FOUR MONTHS FROM THE TIME OF COMPLETION OF THE SYSTEM OF SANITARY
SEWERS OR COMBINED STORK! AND SANITARY SEWERS IPI ANY OF SAID ZONES,
CONNECT SAID IMPROVED-ENTS WITH THE SANITARY SEdER IPI SAID ZONE;
AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION HEREOF", WI -ITCH WAS
ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH ON FEBRUARY
23, 1927
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the General Council of
Paducah, Kentucky on February 23, 1927 be amended and reordained
so that same as amended and reordained shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the avners of improved real estate located
in Sewer Zones 1 and 3 in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and in
all other sewer zones in said city and in all sections of said city
shall, within 12 months from the time of completion of any
sanitary or combined storm and sanitary sewers, connect the im-
provements thereon to such sewer, and each improvement upon real
estate hereafter made shall, before being occupied, be connected
with the sanitary sewer or combined storm and sanitary sewer in the
zone or area where said improvement is located and where such sewer
service is available."
BECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication.
