AN ORDINANCE CALLING AN ELECTION AS TO THE QUESTION OF DAY-
LIGHT SAVING fIME FOR USE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0119111ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called by the Board
of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to be held at
the general election on November 7, 1961 for the purpose of having
the voters of said city vote on the question of daylight saving time
in said -city.
SECTION 2. The question to be submitted to the voters of the
city shall be in the folloiring form:
"Are you in favor of Daylight Saving Time in the
City of Paducah, Kentucky?"
Provision shall be made upon the ballot following the
question so that voters favoring daylight saving time may vote "Yes"
and those opposing same may vote "No',.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall file a certified copy of
this ordinance frith the County Court Clerk of McCracken County, Kentucky
with instructions to said Clerk to have the question set out in this
ordinance to be placed upon the ballots to be used in the city
precincts at the general election on November 7, 1961,
SECTIOPI 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
