AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY SITUATED IN
BLOCK "C" IN FAIRMONT SUBDIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CORPORATION COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE ACTION FOR SUCH CLOSING
IN THE MCCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMI.SSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, do hereby
authorize the closing of that portion of the alley in block
"C" in Fairmont Subdivision running 150:£eet southwardly from
the south line of 28th Street.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute and
prosecute, pursuant to the provisions of KRS 9..360, a suit
in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the
closing of the portion of the alley referred to in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3., This Ordinance shall be in full force a7ad effect
from and after its adoption.
