AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF THE REGULAR EMPLOYEES
OF THE WHITE AND COLORED PARK BOARDS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY",
WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MAY 25, 1957, AND
AMENDED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 1959
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title
quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on May
25, 1957, and amended on September 22, 1959, be, and the same is hereby,
further amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. That the compensation of the regular employees
of the White and Colored Park Boards of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
shall be as follows:
Hourly Rate
Laborers (white Park Board) $1.40
Laborers shall be paid at the rate of $1.28 per hour for the first
year of employment and $1.40 per hour thereafter. Such increases to
be made upon recommendation of the City Manager.
Laborers (colored Park Board) 1.40
Machine Operator (white Park Board) 1.50
Maintenance Men (white Park Board) 1.40
Monthly Salary
Foreman (white Park Board) $320.00
Policemen (white Park Board) 220.00
Caretaken (colored Park Board) 180.00
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after July 1, 1961.
