HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 565, No Ordinance Number565 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ROWTON TV AND SOUND CORPORATION FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF 13 MOBILE TRANSCEIVERS FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Rowton TV and Sound Corporation in the sum of $6,023.50 for the sale to the City of 13 Aerotron Model 6N15TVR Mobile Transceivers with Unicall Quieting Controls, 12 Shock Mounts and complete installa- tion in motor vehicles used by the Police Department. The equipment is to be warranted for a period of 90 days from date of installation and payment to be made within 10 days after installation. Equipment is to be according to specifications submitted with the bid filed with the City Manager on June 5, 1961. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said equip- ment as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and it being necessary for the public health and safety that the above communication equipment be in use as soon as possible, an emergency is now declared and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. mayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners June 13, 1961 Passed by the Board of Commissioners June 20, 1961 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, June 20, 1961.
