A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE DESIRE AND INTENT OF THE BOARD
OF CMilISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IENTUCKY, TO ISSUE AND
SELL INDUSTRIAL REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECURING THE
LOCATION OF A LARGE ALITi•1INUM REDUCTION PLANT IPI OR NEAR SAID CITY
WHEREAS it is the desire and intent of the Board of Cormnission-
ers of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to aid and assist in securing
the location of industries in or near said City in so far as is
allowed by lavi; and
VTHEREAS there is reason to believe that a large aluminum
reduction plant can be located in or near said city if assistance
can be given through the issuance and sale of Industrial Revenue
Bonds as authorized by KRS 103.200 through 103.280.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED B`1 THE BOARD OF CON319ISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby express its desire and intention to
issue and sell Iridustrial Revenue Bonds as provided by KRS 103.200
through 103,280 for the purpose of securing the location of a large
aluminum reduction plant in or near said City, and to secure the
services of a Fiscal Agent to handle the issuance and sale of such
bonds as soon as practicable after all necessary facts and figures
are known.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
