OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK 2 OF WHITTEMORE'S WEST END ADDITION, AND
AUTHORIZING THE CORPORATION COUNSEL TO INSTITUTE ACTION FOR SUCH
CLOSING IN McCRACKEN CIRCUIT COURT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, does hereby
authorize the closing of all that portion of 29th Street between
the north line of Clinton Court, if said line were extended east-
wardly, and the south line of Adams Street; and the closing of all
that portion of an alley in Block 2 of Whittemore's West End Addition
at the rear of Lots Nos. 9, 10, 11 and 12 in said block, said portion
of said alley lying between the east line of the street known as 29th
Street and the crest line of another street also known as 29th Street.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of
Paducah is hereby authorized and empowered to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to the provisions of KRS 94.360, an action in McCracken
Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the street and
alley described in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and.effect
from and after its adoption.
