AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RAY H. MULLEN MOTOR COMPANY
INC. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) NEW 1961 AUTOMOBILES FOR
USE BY THE CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND CHIEF OF THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE
CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
(a) That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Ray
H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. in the sum of 03,223.00, less $825.00
for trade-in of one (1) 1950 Chevrolet Carry -all, making a total
delivery cost of $2,398,00 for sale to the City of one (1) new 1961
Buick LeSabre - 4 door model 4469 with the following standard equip-
ment, Turbine Drive Automatic Transmission, Mirro Magic Instrument
Panel, Direction Signals, Fin Cooled Brakes, Aluminum Front Brake
Drum., Full -Flow Oil Filter, Electric Windshield Wipers, Automatic
Glove Compartment light, Foamtex Cushions, Trip -Mileage Indicator,
Cigarette Lighter, Dual Sunshades, Step -on Parking Brake, Magic
Mirror. Finish. In addition the following added equipment, Power
Brakes, Power Steering, Heater and Heavy Duty Generator and Radiator;
color Fire Chief Red and for use by the Chief of the Fire Department.
(b) That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of Ray
H. Mullen Motor Company, Inc. in the sum of $3,223.00, less $755.00
for trade-in of one (1) wrecked 1955 Oldsmobile, making a total
delivery cost of $2;;,468.00 for sale to the City of one (1) new 1961
Buick LeSabre 4 -door Model 4469 with the following standard equipment,
Turbine Drive Automatic Transmission, Mirro Magic Instrument Panel,
Direction Signals, Fin Cooled Brakes, Aluminum Front Brake Drums,
Full -Flow Oil Filter, Electric Windshield Wipers, Automatic Glove
Compartment Light, Foamtex cushions, Tri -mileage Indicator, Cigarette
Lighter, Dual Sunshades, Step on Parking Brake, Magic Mirror Finish.
In addition the following added equipment, Power Brakes, Power
Steering, Heater and Heavy Duty Generator and Radiator. Color
Black and for use by the Police Chief.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motor vehicles
as set out in Section 1 hereof.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
