AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KING-WOODALL MOTORS, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1961 FORD TRUCK WITH GARWOOD
PACKER FOR USE IN THE REFUSE DIVISION OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid
of King -Woodall Motors, Inc. in the sum of $'10,$40.00, less 44,468.00
for trade-in of one (1) 1952 International truck with Leach Packer
body, making a total delivery cost of $'9,372.00 for sale to the
City of one (1) new 1961 Model C-750 Ford Truck with a 16 -cubic yard
Garwood Packer body for use in the Refuse Division of the City, and
having specifications as set out in Bid No. 1 of King -Woodall Motors,
Inc. in response to a Resolution requesting bids adopted by the Board
of Commissioners on February 28, 1961.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to enter into a contract for the purchase of said truck and packer
as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
