HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 448, No Ordinance Number44$ AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MILAM MOTORCYCLE SHOP FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 1961 3-t%gML MOTORCYCLE FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the bid of milam motorcycle shop in the sum of $1,818.25, less :x295.00 for trade- in of one (1) 1953 model Police 3 -wheel motorcycle making a total delivery cost of :x1,523.25 for the sale to the City of one (1) new 1961 3 -wheel motorcycle having the following specifications: i 1 -Model G Servi-Car F.O.B. Factory, Milwaukee, Wis. Police Servi-Car Group G m4 Insert Inclosed; Police Voltage Regulator for old style radio; Adapter Kit for old style Police Radio Motorola with heavy duty radio generator and regulator auxiliary battery carrier in Servi-Car box less battery. I pair Pursuit Red Lamps with Flasher; 1 set Servi-Car Handles for Top and Black Seat Top. Such motorcycle to be delivered in approximately five (5) weeks i after the execution of the purchase contract. SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said motorcycle as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3.
