HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 39, No Resolution Number39 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARRICADING OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE ALLEY BETWEEN 13TH STREET AND 16TH STREET AND HUNRING FROM BROADWAY TO KENTUCKY AVENUE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE TERNS OF SUCH BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF 10 PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the contracting firm of Collins & Hobbs is hereby authorized to carricade a certain portion of the alley between 13th'Street and 16th Street extending from Broadway to Kentucky Avenue, such portion being the entire portion of said alley extending southwardly a distance of 175 feet from the south line of Broadway. SECTION 2. Such barricades shall be erected for a period not to exceed three (3) months from this date unless such time is extended by the Board of Commissioners.. SECTION 3. Before such barricades are erected, Collins & Hobbs shall procure and deliver to the City Clerk a liability insurance policy or policies to protect the City from any claims to persons or property of persons by reason of such barricades or any construction work adjacent to such portion of said alley in the following amounts: ;100,000.00 for personal injury or death to any one person .,?200,000.00 for personal injury or death to more than one person resulting from the same accident, and 10,000.00 for damage to property from any one accident. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
