AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF L. E. CROLLEY, DOING
BUSINESS AS CROLLEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF
$33,689.35 FOR FURNISHING ALL MATERIAL AND WORK FOR THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CONTRACT NO. 1 BELLEMEADE SANITARY SEWERS IN TILE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE,
ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, A CONTRACT WITH L. E. CROLLEY, DOING
BUSINESS AS CROLLEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, FOR SAID MATERIAL
AND WORK, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID
CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, advertised for bids
for material and work for the construction of Contract No, l
Bellemeade Sanitary Sewers in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, bids were submitted by contractors for said
material and work in accordance with the "Notice `'to Bidders,
Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Form, Bond Form, Contract
Agreement Form, General Conditions, Special Conditions and
Specifications for Contract No. 1 Bellemeade Sanitary Sewers",
which were prepared by Hollis & Griggs, Inc. Consulting Engineers
of Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid for said material and work was in'
the amount of X333,689.35 and was submitted by L. E. Crolley, doing
business as Crolley Construction Company of Paducah, Kentucky.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMPIISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, subject to
the conditions hereinafter set out, accept the bid of L. E. Crolley,
doing business as Crolley Construction Company in the amount of
$33,689.35 for material and work for the construction of Contract
No. 1 Bellemeade Sanitary Sewers in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
subject to all the terms and conditions contained in the documents upon
which said bidder based his bid for said material and work, such
documents having been prepared by Hollis & Griggs, Inc, Consulting
Engineers of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, entitled: ItNotice to
Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, Proposal Form, Bond Form, Contract
Agreement Form, General Conditions, special Conditions and Specifications
for Contract No. 1 Bellemeade Sanitary Sewers".
SECTION 2. Acceptance of the bid of L. E. Crolley, doing
business as Crolley Construction Company, as set out in Section 1
hereof shall be conditioned upon the proper execution by said
contractor of the aforesaid contract documents as mentioned in
Section 1 hereof.

SECTION 3. Upon the approval of the Corporation Counsel
of the execution of the performance bond and contract included
in the contract documents mentioned and set out in Section 1
hereof, the Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky is hereby
authorized to execute said contract for and on behalf of said
City.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage,
and if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
