"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS FOR THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND PRESCRIBING THE MEMBERSHIP, TERMS OF
OFFICE AND DUTIES OF SUCH BOARD", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD
OF COMMISSIONERS ON SEPTEMBER 23, 1958
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the
title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on September 23, 195$, be, and the same is hereby amended so that
said section as amended shall read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There is hereby created and established a 'Board
of Park Commissioners' for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, consisting
of ten (10) members to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval
of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for
terms of four (4) years, except the original appointments.shall be
four (4) members for a term of one (1) year, two (2) members for a
tern of two (2) years, two (2) members for a term of three (3) years,
and two (2) members for a term of four (4) years. Any member of the
board may be removed by a majority vote of the Board of -Commissioners."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
