TER7DIS AND CONDITIONS OF SAID CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Itentucky advertised for bids
for material and work for the construction of a South Side Fire Station
in said city, and
WHEREAS, bids were submitted by contractors for said material
and work in accordance with the specifications and plans prepared by
Johnston & Seay, Architects -Engineers of Paducah, Kentucky, and
WHEREAS, the lowest bid for said material and work was in
the amount of 27,386.00 (Add •,?132.00 for Alternate _lo. 1 and deduct
~178.00 for Alternate No. 2), and was submitted by Ray Black Rc Son of
Paducah, Kentucky.
AOIJ THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0:' -U SSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, ILENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, subject to
the conditions hereinafter set out, accept the bid of Ray Black & Son
in the amount of ;;27,386.00 (Add ,132.00 for Alternate No. 1 and deduct
•;?78.00 for Alternate bio. 2) for material and work .for the construction
of a South Side Fire Station in Paducah, Kentucky, subject to all the
terms and conditions contained in the documents upon which said bidder
based his bid for said material and work, such documents having been
prepared by Johnston & Seay, Architects -Engineers of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. Acceptance of the bid of Ray Black & Son as set out
in Section 1 hereof shall be conditioned upon the proper execution by
said contractor of the aforesaid documents as mentioned in Section 1
hereof.
SECTION 3. Upon the approval by the Corporation Counsel of
the execution of the contract documents set out in the specifications
for the construction of the aforesaid South Side Fire Station, the
Mayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky is hereby authorized to
execute said contract for and on behalf of said City.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed

form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
