It shall be unlawful for any persoh, organization, society, association, or corporation to sell, solicit or canvass subscriptions for magazines, periodicals, photographs, coupons, donations or any other articles by telephone within the City of Paducah, Kentucky, without first registering with the Chief of Police of said city his or her name, address, and the name of his or her organization, society, association or corporation, if any, and its address, and the length of time he or she expects to so sell, solicit or canvass by telephone in said city. SECTIO`..' 2. No charge or fee shall be required for the regis- tration as set out in Section 1 hereof. SECTIOT? 3. Any person, organization, society, association or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than }5.00 nor more than ;150.00 for each offense, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. SECTIO7T4.
