;N ORDIMkNCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DUNCAN PARICIITG KDETER
DIVISION OF MOTOR PRODUCTS CORPORATION FOR THE SALE TO TIES CITY OF
FIFTY (50) PARIING I•-EETER HEADS:, PRESCRICIIIG THE TERMS AMD CONDITIONS
OF SUCH PURCHASE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY iiANAGER TO PURCHASE SAS;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI>31ISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Duncan Parking Meter Division of Motor Products Corporation
or the same to the City of fifty (50) Duncan -.Tiller Deluxe i:odel
1160" meter heads at :.;59.00 each, less trade-in allowance on fifty
(50) used meter heads at :PlO.00 each, making the total delivery
cost to the City of .;;1.,9.00 per toter head. The meter heads shall
be according to specifications contained in the proposal and bid
of said Duncan Parking I~Ieter Division of Motor Products Corporation
including one complete spare mechanism, assortment of spare parts
sufficient for one year's normal maintenance requirements and the
services of an experienced field engineer. The meter heads shall
be paid for from the proceeds from the operation of same and one-
half of such proceeds shall be paid monthly until the entire
purchase price has been paid, or if the entire purchase price is
paid within sixty (60) days from the execution of a contract, a
cash discount- of 5; of the purchase price Trill be allowed.
SrCTIO:? 2. That 'the City I-ianager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said meter
heads as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTIOI': 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
