HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 350, No Ordinance Number3 50 / AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE HOLDING OF A CARNIVAL A PUBLIC NUISANCE, PROHIBITING ANY PERSON, FIRM, ASSOCIATION OR CORPORATION FROM ENGAGING IN SUCH BUSINESS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION HEREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The holding of a carnival is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and is prohibited, and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, association or corporation to hold or in any manner assist in the holding of a carnival within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, Kentucky. SECTION 2. Any person, firm, association or corporation violating the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than :;25.00 and not more than X100.00 for each violation, and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. SECTION 3.
