FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW GARWOOD REFUSE PACKER
ON FORD CHASSIS FOR USE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRkCT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF SAPS AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH
PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMhfISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1. That the bid of King -Woodall Motors, Inc. for
the sale to the City of one (1) new 1960 Model C750 Ford Truck
with Garwood Packer, with specifications as set out in the
bid of King-Y7oodall Motors, Inc, for the sum of $10,$40.00,
less $1,768.00 for trade-in of one 1953 GMC cab & chassis with:;.
Garwood Packer body, making a total delivery cost to the City
of 139,072.00, be accepted, and that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase
of said truck and packer.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put- upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
