AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF RUDD CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, INC. POOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEW 4 -CUBIC YARD
MOTOR PICK-UP SWEEPER FOR USE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAME AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
UPON WHICH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CIPY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Rudd Construction Equipment Company,
Inc, for the sale to the City of One (1) nein Wayne Model 520 4 -cubic
yard, 3 -wheel design street sweeper with specifications as submitted
in the bid of said Company, for the sum of $10,767.00, less $2,142.00
for trade-in of one (1) used Austin -Western sweeper, making a total
delivery cost to the City of $8,625.00, be accepted, and that the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into a contract
for the purchase of said sweeper.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall: -be introduced and remain.on
file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
