AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN LAND FROM
RUBY M. KOLB, FIXING THE PURCHASE PRICE OF SAME AND PROVIDING FOR
THE TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, purchase
from Ruby M. Kolb the following described land in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky;
Being the property at 1640 South 6th Street
fronting 50 feet on the east side of South
6th Street, and being the identical property
conveyed to Ruby M. Kolb by J. C. Kolb and
wife, Lena Kolb, by deed dated May 4, 1935
and of record in Deed Book 183, page 541
in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office,
and also Tract No. 5 as described in a con-
veyance from J. C. Kolb and wife, Lena Kolb,
to Ruby M. Kolb, dated August 1, 1944 and
recorded in Deed Book 2$0, page 20 in the
aforesaid Clerk's office.
The purchase price to be paid for same shall be the sum
of $5,000.00 (of which $100.00 has been paid as a deposit) and
upon receipt of a general warranty deed properly executed and
approved by the Corporation Counsel, the City Treasurer is hereby
authorized and directed to pay to said Ruby M. Kolb the sum of
$4,900.00 to be charged to Account No. 7700.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the
completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
