AI: ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF HENRY A. PETTER SUPPLY
CUPIPANY FOR TILE SALE TO THE CITY OF 2000 FEET OF 2�1'a--IIICH FIRE
HOSE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY PIANAGER TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF SA1-,1E, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERIMS
AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Henry A. Petter Supply Company
for the sale to the City of 1000 feet of 2z -inch, 600 lb. test
Petter Special Brand double jacket dacron cotton rubber lined
fire hose i•rith brass forged rocker lug couplings with Paducah
type thread and Brown treated super -seal, at ;x1.43 per _Foot;
and 1000 feet of 212 -inch similar type fire hose having
couplings with National Standard thread, hose color to be red
if possible, at :,1'1.43 per foor, be accepted; and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into and
execute a contract, on behalf of the City, for -the purchase of
same.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting
of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for at least
one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which
it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted shall be
in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
