AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FARIiERS MOTOR AND EQUIPP•ENT, INC.
FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF ONE (1) NEWM.ASSEY-FERGUSON MODEL 202
INDUSTRIAL TYPE TRACTOR FOR USE IN THE PARK DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OI
PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL
BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Farmers Motor & Equipment, Inc, in the sum of 9`4,319.50, less
y�,1,042.69 for trade-in of one (1) used Ford Industrial Loader Attach-
ment with bucket and industrial crane attachment, making a total
delivery cost of ;3,276.81 for the sale to the City of one (1) new
Massey -Ferguson I•iodel 202 industrial type tractor, having all
equipment and specifications as required and set out in the reso-
lution authorizing the advertisement for bids for the purchase of
such equipment adopted by the Board of Commissioners on April 20,
1960.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized to enter into a contract for the purchase of said tractor
and equipment as set out in Section 1.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain
on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection in the
complated form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
