II BE IT ORDA?14ED BY VE BOARD OF C01-11ISSIOD]ERS OF THE CITY I� OF PADUCAH, KEbITUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City i•ianager is hereby authorized and directed to instruct in writing and cause the Police Department of the City to install parking meters, stop signs, signal lights and proper signs and markings for the regulation of parking, for loading zones, for maximum speed of motor vehicles, for pedestrian cross walks and for traffic lanes on the public ways and streets in the City at such times and places as he deems proper and expedient for the handling of traffic within the City. SECTION 2. Any person, firm or corpiration doing any act in violation of any parking meters, stop signs, signal lights and other traffic signs and markings which may have been directed and authorized by the City Manager under Section 1 hereof, shall be i deemed to have committed a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than %11.00 nor more than ,1100.00 for each separate violation. i SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. I SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication.
