AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BRANDEIS MACHINERY fc
SUPPLY COMPANY, IIIC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF OIE Nall 140TOR GRADER,
AND PRESCRIBING TIE CONDITIONS UPON 3HICH SAID PURCHASE SHALL
BE MADE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIjU-IISSIONI3RS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, IO;I1ITUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, accept the
bid of Brandeis Machinery & Supply Company, Inc. in the sum of
'12,881.00, less •x2,250.00 for trade-in for one (1) used Adams
Grader, making the total delivery cost of •;10,631.00 for the sale
to the City of one (1) new Galion Model 303 Diesel iiotor Grader
having the following specifications:
Tandem Drive with hydraulic power control; electric starter;
generator; combination manual steer with hydraulic booster;
muffler; leaning front wheels; 101 x 1/211 hydraulic shiftable
moldboard; 10.00 x 24 8 -ply 100 level first line earth moving
tires, front & rear; deluxe cab with safety glass enclosure;
hot water heater and windshield wipers; hydraulic brakes;
electric hour meter; lighting attachment, and powered by
International UD -282, 70 H.P., Diesel engine.
Delivery to be made within two (2) weeks from the execution of
a purchase contract, and payment will be made by the City within
thirty (30) days from receipt of the grader.
SECTION 2. That the City I•ianager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and empowered to enter into a contract for the purchase
of said motor grader as set out in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted
shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter,
