AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE CREATING A CITY BEAUTIFUL BOARD FOR THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, PRESCRIBING THE MEMBERSHIP, TERt+IS OF OFFICE
AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS ON MAY 10, 1955
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1, That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the

title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners
on I -lay 10, 1955, be amended so that said section as amended shall
read as follows:
"SECTION 1, That there is hereby created and established
a City Beautiful Board in the City of Paducah, Kentucky consisting
of twelve (12) members who shall be of legal age and residents
of McCracken County, Kentucky, The members shall be appointed
by the Mayor subject to the approval of the Board of Commissioners
of the City. The terms of all members shall be for a period of
one (1) year and shall serve without compensation."
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
