HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 14, Page 252, No Ordinance Number2521 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COV11ISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LYING BETdEEN 23RD STREET AND 24TH STREET AND BETWEEN OHIO STREET AND BELTLINE HIGH41IAY, AND A14ENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COiM SSIONEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a Resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April 20, 1960 entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COD'ID4ISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN 23RD STREET AND 24TH STREET BET?^TEEN OHIO STREET AND THE BELTLINE HIGHWAY", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the eone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2 One -Family Residential to B-1 Neighborhood Business; Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Ohio Street and 24th Street; thence east along the center line of Ohio Street to the center line of 23rd Street; thence north along the center line of 23rd Street to the center line of Beltline Highway: thence northwest along the center line of Beltline Highway'to the center line of 24th Street; thence south along the center line of 24th Street to th= beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map re- ferred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING I14AP" be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid i for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision i hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each I and every section ! , paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
