A RESOLUTION REPEALING A RESOLUTION ENTITLED: "RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF THE UNITED STATES TO MAKE AN ADVANCE OF FEDERAL
FUNDS TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO AID IN FINANCING THE COST
OF CERTAIN SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT NO. KY R-15"
AND TRANSFERRING THE OFFER OF SAID UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT FOR
ADVANCE OF FEDERAL FUNDS TO THE SLUM CLEARANCE AND DEVELOPMENT
AGENCY`.`OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH
WHEREAS, on February 5, 1960 the United States of America
Housing and Home Finance Agency, made an offer to the City of Paducah
for an advance of Federal funds"to aid in the financing of the cost
of certain surveys and plans for Urban Renewal Project KY R-15, and
WHEREAS, on February 23, 1960 the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Paducah, Kentucky passed a Resolution accepting said offer of
the Housing and Home Finance Agency, and
17HEREAS, subsequent to that time the Mayor and Board of Commissioners
by resolution created a Slum Clearance and Development Agency for the
City of Paducah to administer and control the activities of Urban
Renewal Project KY R-15 and other projects, and
WHEREAS, now the Board of Commissioners of the'City of Paducah
wishes to transfer all of their rights, title and interest in said offer
f,;o the Slum Clearance and Development Agency of the City of Paducah,
which procedure is in conformity with the regulations and policy of the
Housing and Home Finance Agency and has been approved by it, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and proper in the reallocation and transfer
of said government offer by the board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah to the Slum Clearance and Development Agency that they should
have in their possession all records pertaining to said offer and
its acceptance.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIME BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah
hereby repeal and rescind a Resolution entitled "RESOLUTION ACCEPTING
AN OFFER OF THE UNITED STATES TO MAKE AN ADVANCE OF FEDERAL FUNDS
TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY TO AID IN FINANCING THE COST OF
CERTAIN SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT NO. KY R-15"
which was passed by the Board of Commissioners on February 23, 1960.

SECTION 2. That the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah hereby transfer and reallocate the offer of the Housing and
Home Finance Agency for advanced funds for Urban Renewal Project No.
KY R-15 to the Slum Clearance and Development Agency of the City
of Paducah which was created for that purpose.
SECTION 3. That the smitten offer of the United States of
America, Housing and Home Finance Agency of February 5, 1960, which
is now filed with the City Clerk of the City of Paducah, shall be
transferred and delivered to the Slum Clearance and Development
Agency of the City of Paducah to be accepted by them in accordance
with the instructions of the Housing and Home Finance Agency.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
